i have not had any email from drake this tax season they have not kept me informed
Our Tax Season Weekly Broadcasts will begin this Friday, 1/18 and run weekly throughout tax season. We have sent several emails over the past few weeks to keep our customers informed as changes were taking place regarding the fiscal cliff procedures. Did you receive those? We want to make sure you are informed. What is your EFIN so that we can make sure we have you receiving emails in our database?
The Refund Cycle Chart was associated with Legacy e-filing which is “no more”. The IRS has transitioned to MeF so with this transition, the Refund Cycle Chart has been eliminated.

I am considering upgrading my computer to Windows 8 before tax season but need to know which Drake software editions will be compatible—I didn’t ask this question when I upgraded to Windows 7 and lived to regret it based on the lack of compatibility with earlier years….
I looked for this info on the website but couldn’t find it.
We don’t expect any additional Drake Software editions would be incompatible with Windows 8.
Lisa G. I was able to run pre 2002 Drake on Win 7 Pro. However, first I did have to download Windows virtual PC with Windows XP mode. This is a free download if you use Win 7 Pro.
